Established in 1787, the College of Physicians is the oldest honorary medical society in the country still in existence. Our elegant Georgian style building was designed by the renowned architectural firm of Cope and Stewardson in 1909. The architects created an English adaptation of the Beaux Arts style and it has proved to be a beautiful structure with integrity of form and function. This is a venue with charm, elegance, personality and style; perfect for a memorable occasion.
Our halls graciously accommodate parties from 10 to 500 and are appropriate for a variety of occasions such as weddings including receptions and rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, conferences, intimate gatherings, galas, fundraisers, corporate award banquets, board retreats and many other occasions.
On our premises is the renowned Mütter Museum, a unique collection of anatomical and pathological specimens as well as medical and historical exhibits in the adjoining gallery. Private tours are available. The College's medicinal plant garden is available for receptions from April through October for up to 125 guests. View our virtual tour to see more of our elegant spaces.
