Charitable Giving
Begun in 1787 by a group of Philadelphia physicians, the College of Physicians of Philadelphia is one of the nation's oldest medical societies. Its founding purpose was to create better physicians to better serve the public. Today, the College is a non-profit educational and cultural institution dedicated to the same guiding principles. Building bridges between a distinguished past and the challenges of a complex future, the College has adopted RELEVANCE as the key descriptor of its programs. The College of Physicians of Philadelphia depends on its Fellows and friends to support the fulfillment of its mission:
To advance the cause of health and uphold the ideals and heritage of medicine.
