Juan de Dios Huarte or Huarte de San Juan (1530-1591), Spanish physician and psychologist, earned for himself a European reputation with this first attempt to show the connection between psychology and physiology.    Originally published in 1575, this is the first English translation, which was initially translated into Italian before being translated into English.
